Who We Are
AskMyDoctor.org is a health education platform built for Africa and Africans around the world, by people who understand Africa.
Our Mission
AskMyDoctor.org is a health education platform built for Africa, by people who understand Africa. We are a dedicated team of healthcare professionals, educators, and innovators working to bridge the gap between communities and lifesaving medical knowledge.
Our goal is simple: to empower everyday people with the tools and confidence to take action during health emergencies—because every life matters, and everyone deserves access to basic health knowledge.
What We Do
We make first aid and health education simple, practical, and accessible across the African continent. Through online and offline tools, mobile-friendly courses, and community-based training, AskMyDoctor.org provides real-time, trustworthy information to help individuals, families, and communities respond quickly in emergencies.
Whether it's treating burns, stopping bleeding, helping someone during a seizure, or knowing what to do before medical help arrives—we teach you how to save lives. Our resources are designed with African realities in mind: limited access to hospitals, long transport times, and minimal emergency infrastructure. That's why we focus on knowledge that works in real life, even with limited resources.
Meet Our CEO

Ade Oduntan
Founder & CEO
Our founder and CEO, Ade Oduntan, was born and raised in Nigeria, where he saw first-hand how the lack of basic first aid knowledge often turned small incidents into tragedies. From a young age, he witnessed friends, neighbours, and even family suffer or lose their lives—not because help wasn't available, but because people simply didn't know what to do in critical moments.
Though he does not come from a medical background, these painful experiences lit a fire in him—a passion to make first aid knowledge accessible to everyone, especially in African communities where formal emergency services are often out of reach. His vision is rooted in real-life need, not theory: if more people knew what to do in those first few minutes, more lives could be saved.
Through AskMyDoctor.org, he is turning that passion into purpose, building a platform that empowers everyday people to become first responders in their homes, schools, and communities. His belief is simple: you don't have to be a doctor to save a life—you just need to know what to do.
